Spring is here!

Spring is here in sunny Brisbane, and the heat is rising. This week, the Brisbane Festival is on and there are some seriously good events happening around Brisbane this week. We went to see Cendrillon by Massenet, at the Queensland Conservatorium on Sunday afternoon. Some wonderful singers in this student production. Keep your eyes on Samuel Johnson, Baritone, and Kiandra Howarth, soprano, who are two seriously talented young singers. They are ones to watch out for in future. On Sunday we’re going to the Spiegeltent to see the Con Artists perform, and Topology are playing on Friday at the Powerhouse. A wonderful jazz-inspired group that is not afraid to take risks with genre. Get yourself along to the Brisbane Festival!
