Happy holidays!

Hi, students and families of Plainsong Studios. Happy holidays! Our teaching is nearly done for the year, and we are closing our doors on 14 December. Some school aged students have already finished and all school students will now finish their lessons on 3rd December.

Some of you will have small invoices for lessons outstanding from Term 4, which I’ve not yet charged for. I will send them out this week. For adult students wanting lessons beyond December 3 – I’m available on a case by case basis until 14 December. Usually mornings, so make sure you contact me for lesson times.

I have loved teaching all of you this year – we have had some stellar successes in our studio. Big kudos to Riley, Hannah, Kiara, Felix, Will, Charlie, Rhiannon and Simone for their great successes in gaining places in Eisteddfodau and Musical Theatre shows! Well done also to Rachel, Daisy, Nadia, Elysha, Riley, Felix, Will, Charlie, Amber and Clancy for their great results in their AMEB exams! And to all our other developing artists: well done to you all for your ongoing commitment to singing, your hard work, and your amazing development as singers.

I am saying goodbye to some beloved students this year for a number of reasons, including interstate moves, work commitments and students changing focus. I love youse all! Goodbye and good luck! And we say a big hello to some newbies for next year, including Connor, Mitchell, Eden, Jazzie, Ellie and others.

The studio reopens on January 28, 2013 and more information will be sent to you in the weeks prior to reopening. I hope you all have a wonderful holiday season and will be ready to start the new year refreshed and energised. Hola!
